Your door’s threshold is fitted to ensure energy efficiency and is specialized to fit your doorframe and entry door.
T-astragal moulding is functional molding designed to close the clearance gap created by the side edges on one or both doors. Artisan ensures that your moulding fits perfectly and snugly between your doors.
If your order contains Iron Scroll Work, you can rest assured that Artisan’s craftsmen will create something beautiful for your door. Whether a loose scroll, tight scroll, fishtail scroll, pointy scroll, or a custom designed scroll – your door’s distinctive, ornamental design will stand above the rest.
A roller catch is mounted to the top of a door and includes a strike plate that is mounted to the jamb – a roller catch is spring loaded.
A door jamb is the side-post or lining of a doorway – fitted perfectly for each entry door style and design.
A glass lock is included for main door panels where applicable/relevant.
Artisan flush bolts are used on our double doors. Generally when you have a set of double doors, one of the doors is inactive the majority of the time and the other door closes into it. In other words, the hinges are on the outside and the doors close together in the middle.
The Artisan door sweep is a small piece of rubber, attached to an aluminum carrier strip and fitted across the bottom of a door. This provides a weatherproof seal and prevents drafts from coming in under the door, allowing for maximum energy efficiency.
